Maintain and Expand Your Progress—Weekly Alumni Group
For Mood Lifters Alumni
Alumni know the benefits of the Mood Lifters program. They have asked for a forum to continue to engage with the techniques and meet with other alumni. We offer a weekly alumni group—this group—and a monthly alumni group—our Infinity Group.
Our Strategy. Your Strength.
Mood Lifters took the most effective treatments and wove them into a peer-led program to:
- Reduce stress, depression and anxiety
- Help you live a more positive and fulfilling life
Specifically, Mood Lifters offers you 15 weekly hour-long meetings for a one-time fee of $175–the approximate cost of only one traditional therapy session.
In each of the 15 weekly meetings, you learn science-based techniques and set your own goals. Next, you practice these skills in between meetings. You track your own personal progress through Mood Lifters’ point system and app.
Mood Lifters improves lives via:
- Skilled peer leaders who have benefited from the program
- Accountability and motivation from our point system
- Effective strategies based on science
- Support and encouragement from fellow group members

“Fantastic program! So glad I came. I will continue to work the program (in fact, will work it much harder). Excellent leaders too!”
“You wouldn’t believe the changes I’ve made in my life since the course. Almost a month without alcohol, I find my mood is much better and I sleep through the night. I still count points, it has really made me more aware of taking better care of myself. Can’t thank you all enough!!!”
“This program is like personal training for your brain.”
What is Mood Lifters?
Mood Lifters is an innovative program that was developed by researchers at the University of Michigan. The Mood Lifters program brings together small groups to discuss and implement strategies to improve their mental health and overall well-being. Our goal is to help people live the life they’ve always wanted: one with deep meaning, less anxiety and depression, more joy and contentment, and better relationships.
Mood Lifters is not therapy. It is a mental wellness program led by people who benefited from their past participation. It was designed to help everyone—from people who are experiencing significant anxiety and depression, to those who simply want to learn new strategies to help them thrive.
